Feet are tired - heart is happy

I'll need to write more about this when i have access to a real keyboard.

New York in a day. Empire State Building, Central Park, Columbus Circle, Grand Central Station, New York Public Library, The Met, Times Square, the Carnegie Deli, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, subway trains, near-misses with pushy drivers, a bicyclist who snorted (for really reals!) at us and some punk kid who walked up to me and said: "I need money. Gimme a dollah."

Ummmm ... no.

Man, my feet hurt. And our hope for Serendipity (the patisserie, not the fate ...) was thwarted by pushy train time tables. In a city that has so much of everything ... we just ran out if time.

And now, as Holly put it: you take a Wyoming girl to Times Square, & this is what happens ...

(addendum: seriously? You found this offensive? Twice? Really?)
