I'm not the only idiot living in Washington

Mom says that my grandpa used to say that God watches out for fools & idiots.

Today - again - God has proved this  true.

When it's 5:30 a.m. & you've torn your home & office to pieces & you're exhausted & nauseated & shaking because you can't find the title for the car you're trading out in a few hours & you've just had to walk to a gas station because said car ran out of gas by Lake Sacajawea at 3:30 in the morning & you've just found out it takes two months to get a new title ... When all of that is happening, and you've prayed and prayed and prayed to be able to find it ... and then a small, small Voice whispers: "Trust Me ... and get some sleep" ...  Trust the Voice.

I sought counsel with a friend ... and then with the auditor's office ... and it turns out, I'm not the first moron to live here. They have help in place for people like me.

The Voice was right ... I can trust Him.

Also: I bought a car today. My first-ever, from-the-dealership car. Did the whole pushing numbets back and forth at each other thing & everything.

I  felt a little bit like a traitor when I watched them drive Lazarus away, but ... It had to happen. Today. He was literally on his last wheel bearing. My trade-in value reflected that. *sigh*

Also: autocorrect tried to change "traitor" to "raptor." Take that however you like ...
