I'm trying an un-boxed approach to packing my books for moving.
A) Boxes of books are heavy, and I'm fat & out of shape.
B) Boxes are kind of precious real estate in a town where dumpster-diving is illegal (WTF??) & there are no convenient cardboard deposits like there were in Laramie.
C) I have a hella lot of paper bags. Gotta use 'em.
My theory is that by wrapping the bags with packing tape, they'll be strong enough to withstand the move, and the bundles will be small (light) enough for a wimpy copy editor to carry. That said, each bag holds a surprising number of books.
