'Till the Ocean Waves

My heart broke to make the choice — to accept the offer. But it also soared.

I'm coming home.

In a few weeks, I'll take up my pen (literally, I've been told) to write the goings-on of government and businesses for my hometown newspaper.

A change of professional pace. A return to beloved people and places.

An end of these missives to you — the few that remain.

I don't know yet whether a new site will chronicle life Back Home. We'll see.

In the meantime, thanks for bearing with me. Leaving the 307 has been a grand adventure. Going back is ... I don't know yet. Like really dark chocolate. Sweet, but with a sharp, bitter edge that enhances the flavor. I'll never regret the choice to come here. I don't think I regret the choice to go back home, either.

Get ready, Wyoming. Giddyup.
